Back in 1987, Don Smith founded the Dixie Horse & Mule Company right here in Wicksburg, Alabama.
In the early years DHMCO was a horse and mule trader, just like the name says.
Before long we were one of the largest and most respected in the country.Along about 1997 we added several lines of horse trailers.
Next thing you know, Dixie Horse & Mule was the largest horse trailer dealership in the world… as it is today.We’ve been blessed with a lot of success and it’s due to the great people here at DHMCO.
We’re a family run business and in fact, the whole company is like a family.
